Position Purpose:

Install telephone hardware as required on customer sites to support successful job completion with high quality while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Knowledge is in one of or multiple customer product lines.

Primary Responsibilities of Position:

This is a “Build to Learn” entry-level position. Responsibilities include knowledge of and experience with basic building and construction of product hardware architecture at the customer site. Incumbent physically builds the product following the hardware job specifications and drawings under guidance from a Site Supervisor and/or designated lead position.

2. Quality awareness and ability to implement quality control processes
   
3. Performs inventory of all job-related material
   
4. Demonstrates proper use of tools
   
5. Performs all physical and mechanical installation activities
   
6. Performs cabling, power and grounding activities
   
7. Travel away from home for several weeks may be required on demand
   
8. Shift work required upon demand
   
9. Physical lifting of a minimum of 25 pounds required
   
10. Conducts work assignments, communicate, dress and assist customer in a professional manner
    

Minimum Skills / Training:

Requires a thorough understanding of basic electronics with minimal training performed and recorded on Safety, Quality assurance and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation and understands color code.
